The festival
Trajectory
The Germans Roig i Torné Music Band Festival was born in 2004 coinciding with the Sant Miquel Festival. Upon reaching its 10th edition, the contest moved the autumn dates to summer and became the current Lleida International Music Band Festival, with innovative suggestions, valuing solidarity, cooperation, wisdom, effort and participation of people and groups that allow us to bring people, cultures and sensitivities closer together in favor of culture.
This emotional capacity makes it possible for concerts to be filled with audiences of all ages and all social classes and, at the same time, promote values linked to education and esteem.
The wonderful thing is that the emotional capacity of music is not diminished by ignorance of its language.
